What if grace isn't new? What if it's always been the story? We often read the Old Testament as a story of rules, failure, judgment, and people trying desperately to get it right. But what if we've been missing something? What if, beneath every story, every failure, every rescue, and every promise, there has always been the same God—forming, pursuing, rescuing, and forgiving people by grace? From creation to the fall, from Noah to Abraham, from Moses to David and beyond, the Old Testament isn't a story of people trying to find their way to God. It's the story of a God who keeps moving toward people. Grace didn't begin with Jesus. It's been the story all along. Through the stories remembered in Hebrews 11, we'll look again at the Old Testament and discover a God who has always been more gracious, patient, and relentless in His love than we imagined.
